The physical-morphological, socioeconomic and ecological questions, due to the fragile condition of the marginal areas of contemporary cities, led the experimentation towards urban regeneration strategies that identify green infrastructure as the framework to mitigation/adaptation of environmental risks and to build the public city. The integrated-interscalare approach of the strategies also involve the large degraded open spaces of social housing neighborough, that require innovative and more effective strategies, tools and mechanisms to overcome their degradation and isolation conditions.
