A discussion of the Poster Session held at the International Conference. The main themes and perspectives of the posters are reviewed, in order to match them with the trends in archaeological and anthropological research. A final remark shortly focus on the dogs-humans relations, and results in a debate of the concept of species, as applied to both in the course of evolution.
