The author analyzes the widespread authoritative opinion that Artificial Intelligence (AI) opens the perspective of post-digital society and how to deal with the issue by trying to get out of a binary logic. Technological innovation occurred in the cultural debate and, just for some moments from the second half of the 1900s onwards, with ideological effects (for or against) phenomena such as cybernetics, information technology, Internet, digitization, up to AI. The assumption of this paper is that all these events are collected in a theoretical matrix of social analysis, strongly linked to the setting of the general systems theory, which sees in the hypothesis and in the functionalistic construction the genesis of a Weltanschauung. In turn, it tends to emphasize social integration and to eliminate any right of citizenship, even theoretical, in the forms of conflict, thus expanding its contents from social analysis. Therefore, we talk about the sociological functionalism starting from Talcott Parsons and his strongly normative approach, in which the analysis of legalformal mechanisms is given by his vision of the social system. Even in this vision we can trace preliminary forms of a natural, human conflict.

Abstract
Even in this vision we can trace preliminary forms of a natural, human conflict.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
