Abstract
From Postmodern onwards, Italian architecture seems to be characterized by a strange condition which, slowly untangling the plots of a profound crisis, underlines a renewed form of relationship with the past: in its widespread backwardness, in fact, it has found its own way to escape the disruptive season of star system architecture, fashion global, emphasizing in the interest and spirit of a large part of current architecture specific attention to the built, for what already is, defending itself from the muscular attractions of “consumer architecture” with the search for a work that is sensitive and listening to the existing. The contribution will focus on operations aimed at the built - categorically distinct in “restauro” of the existing material, “recupero” of the heritage and innesto” in the historical fabric - will be analyzed as a specific prerogative of Italian architecture, taking as a paradigm three contemporary examples by recognized Italian architects.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
