Starting from a core of dreamlike sonnets of Vittoria Colonna's amorous production, the article intends to explore the fortune of the Neapolitan fifteenth-century poetry, in particular of Sannazaro and Cariteo. Although limited, the survey presented here is intended as a premise for a rethinking of Vittoria Colonna’s production ˗ and more generally of the early sixteenth century poetry ˗ in the light of the immediately preceding lyric tradition.

Abstract
Starting from a core of dreamlike sonnets of Vittoria Colonna's amorous production, the article intends to explore the fortune of the Neapolitan fifteenth-century poetry, in particular of Sannazaro and Cariteo. Although limited, the survey presented here is intended as a premise for a rethinking of Vittoria Colonna’s production ˗ and more generally of the early sixteenth century poetry ˗ in the light of the immediately preceding lyric tradition.File allegati a questo prodotto
