This article is about the violated body in literary texts written by three migrant writers in Italy: the short stories La guerra di Mira [Mira’s war] by Tamara Jadrejčić (2007) and Vetri rosa [Pink glass fragments] by Ornela Vorpsi (2006), and the novel Katerina e la sua guerra [Katerina and her war] by Barbara Serdakowski (2009). The following steps are central in the present analysis: the limit after which the ‘violation’ is perceived by the character who’s suffering it, the variety of psychological answers to the event, the masculine – feminine figures projected through interactional situations described in these texts.
