Progettare per i luoghi, progettare nei luoghi. Un approccio interdisciplinare per rigenerare lo spazio pubblico

The concept of “public space” is one of the most complex of architectural lexicon, understood as a point of intersection between architecture and social culture, symbolic representation of civil and democratic values, that allow to regulate social and political conflicts, as well as being a physical place. A possible key to interpretation can be found in the relationship between space and place through the definition of (micro)urban landscape, that encompasses multiple specialist declinations. Workshop experience aims to trigger processes of physical, functional, perceptual, behavioural transformation, making public Spaces recognizable as Places. The result is the definition of micro-landscapes, different in multiple and interrelated uses, able to define an urban place, susceptible to change and interaction, compatible with the demands of a society in continuous and rapid change.
