A ten years experience is reported regarding surgical laparoscopic miomectomy in women seeking infertility treatment. In a group of 52 patients monopolar and bipolar electroresection was used to access the miomata, while in a second group of 139 patients the Chardonnens scalpel was used for the same goal. In patients belonging to the second group, who later underwent a cesarean section or a diagnostic laparoscopy, uteropelvic adhesions were found in a smaller number of cases (15,78% vs 27,27%). This result, which is very important given the fertility quest of these patients, brought to adopt the Chardonnens scalpel technique in performing laparoscopic miomectomies. Furthermore the advantage, in saving morphofunctional integrity of uterine wall coming from miomata “morcellation” and “rolling” techniques, is outlined.

Abstract
Furthermore the advantage, in saving morphofunctional integrity of uterine wall coming from miomata “morcellation” and “rolling” techniques, is outlined.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
