The paper reports a complete study of electrical power system on a metro line under construction in Buenos Aires supplied at 2x25 kV-50 HZ. The metro line, is at the forefront from the technological point of view, because of it represents one of the very few examples of a metro line with a 2x25 kV alternating current electrification system.The results of traffic and electrical simulations of the proposed 2x25 kV-50 Hz electrical system are presented, including energy performance due to the braking recovery, considering time shifting of departures.Different network operations, have been taken into account considering the out of service of main electrical substation. Electrical standard requirements have been taken into account to verified the results performed.Overloads of electrical machines, voltage values on the pantograph, step and touch voltages and voltage unbalances have been calculated.
