From the equations of the system container-liquid, one deduces the variational equation of the problem.The study of the normal oscillations is reduced to the study of an operator bundle,the kind of which is well known.One obtains an infity of aperiodic damped motion and, for a sufficiently small viscosity, a finite number of oscillatory damped motions.
