The problem of the small oscillations of an inviscid liquid in a container under gravity zero, has been studied by many authors. These use classical condition, but some experiments have shown this condition must be replaced by an anchored-edge condition i.e. the conctact line is fixed. This paper deals with the mathematical study of the case, important in practice, of the container of revolution with elastic bottom.
