Non-celiac gluten sensitivity diagnosis: comparision between in-vivo challenge according to "Salerno experts' ctiteria" and gluten oral mucosa patch test

Non-celiac gluten sensitivity (NCGS) is agluten-related disorder in absence of allergic or autoimmuneetiopathogenetic mechanisms and the “Salerno Experts’ Criteria”represent the only diagnostic tool available: it is based on in-vivogluten challenge with periodical clinical evaluations. However, oralmucosa patch tests supported by Laser Doppler Perfusion Imaging(LDPI) have been recently proposed for the diagnosis of adversereactions to foods.Our aim was to compare the “Salerno Experts’ Criteria” and theGluten Oral Mucosa Test Patch (GOMPT) supported by LDPI in NCGSdiagnosis.
