Sguardo di confine. Qualche riflessione a partire dalla contemporaneità russa

LOOKING ACROSS BORDERS: SOME THOUGHTS ON THE PRESENT RUSSIAN WORLD Facing questions raised by current reality (as well as their relation with the past), the ‘extralocality’ of Italian Slavic studies can represent a liminal space between the self and the other. This includes in itself a pivotal theoretical contribution typical of intercultural studies while incorporating the point of view of the other. From this perspective, the image of the Russian poet as an extraordinary individual, capable of satisfying the Russian quest for uniqueness and at the same time legitimizing the illegibility of Russian culture in Western eyes, intersects with the studies on diversity. A close analysis of texts and facts, based on a polycentric approach to research and on the idea of ‘approximation’ and ‘contamination’, acknowledges differences not to homogenize them or establish hierarchies, but to ‘translate’ in one’s own culture and time voices that are originally different.
