The aim of this paper is to present a new approach to measure and monitor the integration of immigrants into the labour market, based on partial order theory and previously tested for analysis of multidimensional material deprivation data. The main feature of the methodology is that the information needed for the integration assessment is extracted directly from the relational structure of the dataset, avoiding any kind of scaling and aggregation procedure the study of material deprivation, so as to respect the ordinal nature of the data.
