Synch - Fra l'attimo e l'evento

'Synch - Between the instant and the event’ is a PhD thesis based on a critical reading of 'Social Acceleration Theory'. Moving from authors of contemporary sociology of acceleration, I have discussed the concept of 'biopolitical synchronization' in different ways. By 'instant' the thesis point out something similar to an atomistic conception of social time, whereas through 'event' I have tried to describe a free temporality, self-directed and autonomous, that could help social subjectivities to dismiss a social order of time. In addiction to a theoretical reconstruction of SAT, beyond an identification with Hartmut Rosa’s works, in the conclusive section ‘Synch’ proposes an hermeneutics of an ‘escaping temporality’ of contemporary social actors – in a Social Ontology approach, combined by a Philosophy of Praxis – against a reduction of a ‘potency of subtraction’ in ‘social alienation’. According to this kind of proposal, I have sought help from ‘micro-ucrony’ concept, too.

'Synch - Fra l'attimo e l'evento' prende le mosse dalla 'Social Acceleration Theory' per fornire una riflessione sulla temporalità accelerata dei soggetti sociali della contemporaneità. Nella tesi si fornisce una lettura critica della sociologia dell'accelerazione a partire dalla quale, mediante l'utilizzo del concetto di 'sincronizzazione biopolitica', si descrivono due tendenze che caratterizzano il rapporto fra 'tempo sociale' e 'temporalità soggettiva': l'attimo, come atomo del tempo, e l'evento, come esperienza di una temporalità libera destituente l'ordinamento sociale del tempo. Oltre a fornire una presentazione complessiva della SAT, spesso identificata con l’opera di Hartmut Rosa, ‘Synch-‘ offre, nella sua conclusione, degli spunti per ripensare, nel confine dell’ontologia sociale e della filosofia della prassi, il ruolo della ‘temporalità fuggente’ non solo in chiave alienante, bensì come modalità di accesso a diverse ‘micro-ucronie’.
