Squares and streets without town. Settlement patterns in Puglia’s landscape. The borgo Segezia

The Italian "new towns" made in the 30s are meaningful architectural interventions at the landscape’s measurement. A "structural" analysis of their founding principles in relation to the territory, it is useful to develop the models of settlement for the contemporary, within a historical and geographical perspective, approaching to the landscape with an architectural vision. In particular the Borgo Segezia seems to be a rather significant and fruitful paradigm to investigate in didactic field and research about the topic of the relationship between architecture and nature in the Puglia region.
