Even if reduced in last years removable prosthsis remains the most used therapeutic solution for total and partial edentulousness. Each kind of removable prosthesis has respectively advantages and breakdowns. However even if not invasive and biologically well beard, increasing legal controversies make the informed approval a fundamental step in the therapeutic plan. The approval aims to create for the patient a clear knowledge about possibilities, risks and costs of the treatment and should be given both in oral and written form.
