Filosofia e religione. Una sfida al presente

The aim of this text is to focus the relationship between philosophy and religion starting from the renewed supremacy of religion on the global public scene. The first part is dedicated to an analysis of the relationship between religion, politics and economy in the contemporary age, with particular attention to the new claims of the religious fundamentalism and the hegemonic power of the market economy as the last form of planetary religion. The classical relationship between «faith and knowledge», analyzed by Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche and Heidegger, is at the core of the second part of the text, in order to identify the practical dimension inherent to philosophical knowledge, useful to individuate an active role of philosophy in the contemporary societies.
