Centopiazze. Intervenir en las periferias a través del espacio público

The program Centopiazze, in the 90s, was a really innovative proposal for the city of Rome. From the same Bohigas approach in Barcelona, it intended, among other plans, the requalification of a very complex city through a capillary system of interventions on public spaces, mainly in the outskirts. A research conducted at the University Pablo de Olavide poses a methodology for evaluating the results of the program as a possible model for analisys of strengths and weaknesses of public spaces in outlying areas and monitoring of their interventions, through the study of the territorial dynamics where inserted and the identification of the diverse implementation keys.
