Topiramate is used in the management of epilepsy and migraine. In the present paper we present a case of bilateral acute angle closure glaucoma associated with myopia following the use of topiramate. The patient was admitted to our ward. Complete ophtalmological examination was carried out along with ultrabiomicroscopy of the anterior segment and confocal microscopic study of the corneal endothelium. Patients on treatment with topiramate should be monitored during the first two weeks of therapy and the drug should be discontinued in case of visual disturbances or other ocular symtoms.
