Educazione formale e non formale e identità linguistica dei profughi siriani in Turchia

This essay presents an overview of the response to the Syrian crisis offered in the educational field with particular reference to the issue of linguistic identity of Syrian refugees. The focus will be on the stand of about 3.5 million Syrian refugees in Turkey. In the present state of affairs the role of non-governmental NGO’s is particularly relevant at a local level. The case of Amal for Education and its activities on the Syrian-Turkish border is presented.

Il saggio presenta una panoramica relativa alla risposta alla crisi siriana in campo educativo con particolare riferimento alla questione dell’identità linguistica dei profughi siriani. Il focus del contributo è la situazione dei circa tre milioni e mezzo di profughi siriani in Turchia. Il ruolo delle organizzazioni non governative è centrale soprattutto a livello locale. Il caso presentato è quello delle attività di Amal for Education al confine turco-siriano.
