This is the final report of investigation on the microfungal communities of tropical forest soils, carried out in Tai National Park (Ivory Coast) in 1984-86, in two natural plots and in two other ones that were transformed in cultivated land and thereafter abandoned to allow the development of successions in the forest and the mycoflora. The analysis of the data of eight years of sampling show that the intra and interannual variability of the fungal community may be an adaptation to the climatic conditions, which apparently regulate the soil evolution.

Abstract
This is the final report of investigation on the microfungal communities of tropical forest soils, carried out in Tai National Park (Ivory Coast) in 1984-86, in two natural plots and in two other ones that were transformed in cultivated land and thereafter abandoned to allow the development of successions in the forest and the mycoflora. The analysis of the data of eight years of sampling show that the intra and interannual variability of the fungal community may be an adaptation to the climatic conditions, which apparently regulate the soil evolution.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
