The article describes the history and principles lying behind the IFLA Fake news infographic, a tool developed within the IFLA Global Vision. The author, who was responsible for the translation into Italian, briefly explains the 8 points, giving some examples based on Italian resources, reports on the welcome the tool received by the Italian librarians’ community and reflects on the doubts she had during the translation process.
L'articolo descrive la nascita e i principi alla base dell'Infografica IFLA sulle false notizie, uno strumento sviluppato all'interno dell'IFLA Global Vision. L'autrice, responsabile della traduzione italiana, spiega brevemente gli 8 punti, fornendo esempi basati sulle risorse informative italiane, riferisce sulle reazioni alla pubblicazione nella comunità dei bibliotecari italiani e condivide le riflessioni originate dai dubbi in fase di traduzione.
