The pottery repertoire of the Amman-Zarqa region during Early Bronze IV - labelled Amman-Zarqa Family - has been described as homogeneous since the Nineties, based on tomb assemblages from sites in this area. New discoveries fromm recent excavations at the setttlement site of Khirbet al-Batrawy, located along the Wadi az-Zarqa, allows for a reconsidereations of ceramic regiojnalism in this area.
