The article reviews ceramic assemblages from central and southern Transjordan dating from the Early Bronze IV period in order to discuss techno-stylistic and chronological aspects. The question of ceramic regionalism in the southern Levant during the Early Bronze IV period is reappraised in terms of production, distribution and consumption of pottery.
