This paper concerns the stone architectural elements from the Monastery of Manqabad (in Middle Egypt), which were documented in 2014 and it focuses on their typological clssification. After a brief history of the study, I analise the stone architectural elements kept in the storehouses (capitals, lintels and elements of the friezes, moulded elements and miscellaneous architectural elements) and those still in situ (bases, paved areas, thresholds and sills, accommodation of hinge pins, reinforcing elements, shelves and others).

Abstract
This paper concerns the stone architectural elements from the Monastery of Manqabad (in Middle Egypt), which were documented in 2014 and it focuses on their typological clssification. After a brief history of the study, I analise the stone architectural elements kept in the storehouses (capitals, lintels and elements of the friezes, moulded elements and miscellaneous architectural elements) and those still in situ (bases, paved areas, thresholds and sills, accommodation of hinge pins, reinforcing elements, shelves and others).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
