Una nota allo schol. ad Aristoph. ran. 1263c Chantry

Eratosthenes in the schol. on Aristophanes’ Frogs 1263c Chantry polemicizes against some “false Atticists” (ψευδαττικοί); the point under discussion is not clear be- cause the text is corrupt. I argue that the false Atticists read in the line the words τὼ ψήφω, and that our scholium can be connected to other fragments of Eratosthenes that discuss irregular uses of the dual number.
