Gli Stati generali del paesaggio: la bellezza salverà il mondo

On 25 and 26 October 2017, less than twenty years after the National Landscape Conference in 1999, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism organized the General States of Landscape at Palazzo Altemps as an occasion for reflection and deepening on the future of landscape policies.The meeting was organized with the aim of offering a broad overview of the economic, legislative and cultural situation of the Italian landscape. At the same time, it sought to identify an agenda for a major project in which environment, landscape and territory are united in the same area, overcoming differences and procedural divisions that often in the recent past have resulted in a deficiency of protection and have become causes of unnecessary complications.
