In this paper we study the problem of globally stabilizing via output feedback a class of nonlinear systems, characterized by having nonlinear terms depending only on the output. It is shown that the stabilization problem amounts to solving two simpler stabilization subproblems: one is the problem with “full information” and the other is the problem with “output injection”. The proofs of our result give simple and systematic procedures to construct globally stabilizing output feedback controllers even for more general classes of systems, as shown by some examples.

Abstract
In this paper we study the problem of globally stabilizing via output feedback a class of nonlinear systems, characterized by having nonlinear terms depending only on the output. It is shown that the stabilization problem amounts to solving two simpler stabilization subproblems: one is the problem with “full information” and the other is the problem with “output injection”. The proofs of our result give simple and systematic procedures to construct globally stabilizing output feedback controllers even for more general classes of systems, as shown by some examples.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
