The aim of the paper is to understand which models of technology transfer guarantee an efficient management of technology to promote the development of innovative systems, at the different stages of life cycle. The used methodology is the multiple case study. In fact, two successful Italian experiences were analysed and the results of the analysis revealed some important strategic and operational drivers. The analysis concerns only two case studies, so, we do not pretend to generalize the result; however, there are several practical implications that come out. The analysis suggests some implications for public policies on research and innovation: avoid the duplication of technology transfer offices, ensure all users a standard catalog of services for research and innovation, intensify the relationships between the different actors of the system and work bottom up to gather useful proposals and needs from the research and business fabric. Also use virtual tools for building long networks. The work presents an in-depth analysis of two case studies that are found in different phases of the life cycle but in two regions with high innovative potential; it proposes a synthesis of a model of technological transfer that, depending on the life cycle, puts into act activities and tools.

Abstract
The work presents an in-depth analysis of two case studies that are found in different phases of the life cycle but in two regions with high innovative potential; it proposes a synthesis of a model of technological transfer that, depending on the life cycle, puts into act activities and tools.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
