We have read with great interest the paper of Papagiannis et al, entitled “No Differences Identified in Transverse Plane Biomechanics Between Medial Pivot and Rotating Platform Total Knee Implant Designs”. The authors assessed the gait function in patients who underwent medial pivot or rotatingplatform, posterior-stabilized knee prosthesis. Kinematic and kinetic parameters, using Davis protocol of gait analysis, in transverse plane were considered. The authors found no statistically significant differences between the 2 implants, in these parameters
