We have read with significant curiosity and care the paper entitled “Polyneuropathy in levodopa-treated Parkinson's patients”, written by Szadejko and colleagues [1]. The authors investigated the prevalence of peripheral neuropathy in Parkinson's disease (PD) patients, excluding the subjects with other risks factors or neuropathies. The diagnosis was based on clinical examination, by the use of Toronto Clinical Scoring System. Objective assessment of peripheral nervous system was performed with neurophysiological examination of motor and sensory lower limb nerves
