We have read with pleasure and attention the paper by Schertz and colleagues, entitled “High-Resolution Ultrasound in etiological evaluation of Ulnar Neuropathy at the Elbow”[1]. The authors studied a very wide sample of subjects in order to assess the prevalence of morphological changes of ulnar nerve. Schertz and colleagues considered two groups of subjects: patients with ulnar neuropathy at elbow (UNE), confirmed by neurophysiology, and asymptomatic volunteers without any history of UNE. Ulnar nerve morphology, at the medial epicondyle level, and nerve dislocation during elbow flexion, were studied by ultrasound (US)

Abstract
We have read with pleasure and attention the paper by Schertz and colleagues, entitled “High-Resolution Ultrasound in etiological evaluation of Ulnar Neuropathy at the Elbow”[1]. The authors studied a very wide sample of subjects in order to assess the prevalence of morphological changes of ulnar nerve. Schertz and colleagues considered two groups of subjects: patients with ulnar neuropathy at elbow (UNE), confirmed by neurophysiology, and asymptomatic volunteers without any history of UNE. Ulnar nerve morphology, at the medial epicondyle level, and nerve dislocation during elbow flexion, were studied by ultrasound (US)File | Dimensione | Formato | |
