The ultrasonic (US) of renal collecting system obstruction caused by `fungus balls' is demonstrated. The examination showed bilateral hydronephrosis and solid, echogenic, nonshadowing masses were identified within both renal pelves. Urine cultures were positive for Candida albicans in both cases.
