The journey, real or invented, physical o literary, is one of the keys of Roberto Bolaño’s nomadic and liquid identities, since its characters are travelers through countries and literary traditions. In this essay, I reflect on different kinds of journeys and on its meanings, beginning with Estrella distante to 2666, which tells about a journey through western history and about different journeys in search of referents, identity and space.
