I Luoghi pavesiani e la loro evoluzione. Applicazione GIS per un'analisi diacronica dell'uso del suolo di Santo Stefano Belbo.

Concerned about the Italian soil consumption, which values raised to alarming levels in the last few years, the study reflects on how the literary tourism could prevent this issue by promoting the territory’s heritage through the authors’ words. Focusing on the novel “La luna e i falò” of 1949, which is considered the masterpiece of one of the mayor contemporary writer Cesare Pavese, the study tries to analyse the changes in the plot's scenery, the Langhe’s region of Piemonte, comparing old and recent document in GIS, in order to quantify and classify the areas where the changes where major.
