Alfabeti, abecedari, (auto)ritratti: Sanguineti-mondo

The essay follows and analyzes the vocation to the catalog and the alphabetical sequences, present in the work of Edoardo Sanguineti. The studio devotes particular attention to some collaborations with artists and musicians - Enrico Baj and Luciano Berio - for whom Sanguineti has made poetic texts based on the structure of the catalog or the alphabet. The essay concludes by advancing the hypothesis that Sanguineti entrusted his true self-portrait, rather than the poetic texts, to his multimedia project "Ritratto del Novecento".

Il saggio percorre ed analizza la vocazione al catalogo e alle sequenze alfabetiche, presente nell'opera di Edoardo Sanguineti. Lo studio dedica particolare attenzione ad alcune collaborazioni con artisti e musicisti - Enrico Baj e Luciano Berio - per i quali Sanguineti ha realizzato testi poetici fondati sulla struttura del catalogo o dell'alfabeto. Il saggio si conclude avanzando l'ipotesi che Sanguineti abbia affidato il suo vero autoritratto, più che ai testi poetici, al suo progetto multimediale «Ritratto del Novecento».
