(english) Topics of the emeting included: * Structure, mechanisms and roles of Zomes (proteasome, eIF3, COP9 signalosome) * Regulation of Zomes functions * Zomes and protein quality control, misfolding and aggregation * Zomes in aging and disease The conferences was attended by 120 participants and brought together investigators and students from different fields, disciplines and geographic locations. Speakers for the oral presentation were selected on the basis of their contributions to the session topics and preference was given to young researchers. Poster presentations were incentivized through a poster prize. Meet the Expert sessions at meals provided graduate students and post-docs the possibility to talk directly to the session speakers.
