Like the sustainability, the object of this paper, the research was made by an interdisciplinary study group on “Sustainability and University”, created in 2013 with the participation of two colleagues: one from the Department of Life Sciences, University of Parma, and another one from the Department of Human Sciences, University of Milano-Bicocca. This group decided to promote a research aimed to understand the state of education for sustainability in high education institutions, such as the University. The ambitious aim of this project, consequently, was to promote and to catalyse the engagement of these institutions in the debate on education for sustainability, in relation to their approaches to teaching, curriculum, policies (green campus, for instance), governance and to a broader engagement with community. To pursue these aims, was carried out an online survey, using questionnaires for university students and for university researchers and teachers. The first results of the research embraced also an explorative qualitative part dedicated at a brainstorming with the university teachers.

Abstract
The first results of the research embraced also an explorative qualitative part dedicated at a brainstorming with the university teachers.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
