The study leads to a topic deeply questioned by Pietro Montani in his philosophical research: the relationship between art and technique. This topic is developed within a specific frame - the use of electric light in contemporary art - and towards an orientation today widespread both in art and in the development of new light technologies: the attempt to artificially create "natural" visibility conditions, i.e. to make the contribution of the technique disappear through the use of the technique itself.

Abstract
The study leads to a topic deeply questioned by Pietro Montani in his philosophical research: the relationship between art and technique. This topic is developed within a specific frame - the use of electric light in contemporary art - and towards an orientation today widespread both in art and in the development of new light technologies: the attempt to artificially create "natural" visibility conditions, i.e. to make the contribution of the technique disappear through the use of the technique itself.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
