Transformations of the "urban" in Rome's post-metropolitan cityscape

The contribution provides a portrait of the transformations that took place in the recent past in the Roman metropolitan context, not only in the settlement development, but also in the forms of living, meaning living as a complex phenomenon concerning the house and the dwelling, but also the organization of everyday life, socio-spatial relationships and ways of using space, etc. Rome is considered related to the "post-metropolitan" discussion. The portrait provided with the transformations returns a complex and innovative image of the city and its territory, considering the development of the new supra-regional polarities, of the abusive phenomena, of the overall territorial reorganization and of the phenomena of peripheralization, of the structuring of the GRA city, of the distance of politics and institutions, of social protagonism, of the projects that express the territories.
