Un testimonio poco conocido de las “Coplas que hizo Jorge Manrique a la muerte de su padre”: la impresión de Abraham Usque (Ferrara, 1554)

Being a classic of Spanish lliterature, having a tradition with a three vulgatae, a profusion of manuscripts and, most of all, printed editions, the "Coplas de Jorge Manrique a la muerte de su padre" are one of the most interesting cases for the philologic investigation. The different settings of its transmission provides interesting intersection between textual philology of both manuscript and printed books. The article deals with the Ferrara edition of the "Coplas", by the jewish printer Abraham Usque, published in 1554, together with the "Visión delectable de la filosofia y artes liberales" de Alfonso de la Torre. An item of this rare publication has been located in the Biblioteca Alessandrina of Rome. The Ferrara edition will be situated into the complex tradition of the "Coplas", and will be given some possible reasons of their publication.
