La distribuzione spaziale delle principali popolazioni di immigrati della provincia di Roma in relazione ai processi di urbanizzazione

Our contribution intends to present a first mapping - updated to 2012 - of the housing settlement of the first ten (by number) immigrant communities in the municipal and provincial territory of Rome. The distinction by nationality will allow us, on the one hand, to bring out the specificities of the single communities, and on the other to highlight the homogenizing and presumably general factors. The indicator taken is that of the registry office. From reading the data we aim to produce maps capable of bringing out the lines of continuity and fracture that seem to characterize the settlement distribution in the municipal and provincial territory, and to hypothesize explanations by correlating the dynamics of migrant living in relation to recent transformations urbanistic, infrastructural and market of the house in the city of Rome and in the province. In particular we question ourselves with respect to the role of large road and railway infrastructures; the way in which the center / periphery relationships have been restructured and expanded, going, at least from the residential point of view, to invest also the territories bordering the Municipality of Rome; the trend of the housing phenomenon from a diachronic point of view, trying to bring out the trends that can be found.

Il nostro contributo intende presentare una prima mappatura – aggiornata al 2012 – dell'insediamento abitativo delle prime dieci (per numerosità) collettività immigrate nel territorio comunale e provinciale di Roma. La distinzione per nazionalità ci permetterà da un lato di far emergere le specificità delle singole collettività, dall'altro di evidenziare i fattori omogeneizzanti e presumibilmente generali. L'indicatore assunto è quello della residenza anagrafica. Dalla lettura dei dati ci proponiamo di produrre delle mappe capaci di far emergere le linee di continuità e di frattura che sembrano caratterizzare la distribuzione insediativa nel territorio comunale e provinciale, e di ipotizzarne delle spiegazioni correlando le dinamiche dell'abitare migrante in relazione alle recenti trasformazioni urbanistiche, infrastrutturali e di mercato della casa nella città di Roma e nella provincia. In particolare ci interroghiamo rispetto al ruolo delle grandi infrastrutture viarie e su ferro; al modo in cui le relazioni centro/periferia si sono ristrutturate ed espanse andando, almeno dal punto di vista abitativo, a investire anche i territori limitrofi al Comune di Roma; all'andamento del fenomeno abitativo in un'ottica diacronica, cercando di far emergere i trend riscontrabili.
