The survey of open spaces was aimed at understanding the historical evolution of urban areas and its contemporary functioning. The identification of different types (vegetable gardens, cultivated areas, natural vegetation areas and gardens) has allowed us to understand the historical and consolidated relationships between the centre and the surrounding area, the evolution/transformation over time, and the possibility of future enhancement/use.
Il rilievo degli spazi verdi (orti, coltivi, aree a vegetazione naturale, giardini), seppur pochi e di limitata estensione all’interno dei centri storici dell’Area Omogenea, rappresenta un contributo essenziale alla conoscenza delle modalità di funzionamento storico e contemporaneo dei centri, e in particolare delle relazioni tra centri e territorio circostante e della loro evoluzione nel tempo
