Relations community - natural heritage in the district of Korca and sustainable development opportunities

The concept of population sustainability in the district of Korça has little been mentioned at all. We have to emphaisize the fact that due to the present situation we need to take actions for the setting of enviromental consciense concept which means : education, respect and the ability to manage a territory and its sources in order to make a better use of the possibilities we are given to live in balance with the environment. Based on the results of a survey taken in the district of Korça aur paper aims at bringing to attention and analyzing the relations between the community and the natural heritage, as well as to emphaisize the role of the enviromental education for the protection of its values. The paper will bring results of a research on the relations between the population and the natural heritage of the district of Korça. The research is realised by menas of two questionnaires to around 662 inhabitants of this town. This metthod presents us with the level of information the inhabitants have on the issue. Furthermore the paper underlines the link between the community and natural heritage. This research will contribute and is a support to the scientific compling of the touristic " Managing Plan".
