The international Conference “Plan- ners in Palestine, (Italian) planners for Palestine” hosted by the Dept. data is part of the International Cooperation project funded by International Rela- tion Office of the Sapienza University (Announcement of 2011). The project among our Department and the urpu- Urban and Regional Planning Unit of the An-Najah University in Palestine (the first planning Unit in the Middle East) promotes exchange of knowledge and mutual understanding of the plan- ning theories and practices, hopefully useful for the ‘development’ of the Unit of the Partner University in this impor- tant phase of transition for the plan- ning system in Palestine, and then for cities and national planning. The main goal of the project is to counter the sub- stantial e≠ect of incapacitation (Nuss- baum 2011) that spatial conflict has produced on Palestinian urban plan- ners and, more generally, on their Insti- tutions that should prepare Plans and educate future local planners.

Abstract
The main goal of the project is to counter the sub- stantial e≠ect of incapacitation (Nuss- baum 2011) that spatial conflict has produced on Palestinian urban plan- ners and, more generally, on their Insti- tutions that should prepare Plans and educate future local planners.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
