Il numero mette a fuoco il lavoro dei giovani designer dopo la scuola che, negli studi di progettazione, nei team di aziende o nei centri di ricerca, esprimono prodotti che spaziano dai più classici del furniture, del fashion e del transportation, a manufatti con un’alta componente tecnologica. Designer After School parte dalle riflessioni del mondo accademico, per poi raccontare una professione attraverso le testimonianze dei progettisti under 40 nei diversi ambiti di attività, per chiudere con la rilettura di un momento storico che ha rappresentato un drastico cambiamento di rotta del design italiano: il Radical. The issue focuses the work of young Designers After School working in design offices, teams in companies and research centres, which create products from the more traditional furniture, fashion and transportation design, to the higher technological goods. Designer After School starts from the reflections of the academic world, to carry on with the witnesses of designers under 40 through their sectors of activity, to end up revising an historical movement standing for a drastic change in Italian design: the Radical.
