The Legal Dimension of the Sustainability of Outer Space Activities

The sustainable and responsible use of outer space is becoming a high priority at the international level for balancing many differing priorities and needs including, but not limited to, sensitive national security interests, equitable access to the space domain for emerging States, and protecting the space environment. The present article describes the legal shape of the sustainability of space activities.
