Grinding stones, mortars and polishing stone tools represent a fundamental equipment of the daily life at Fewet in Garamantian times. Eighty-three stone tools were collected from three different areas: the Fewet compound, the Fewet sounding S1 and the Site 11 at Tan Ataram. Their typology, function and distribution are here studied, together with an analysis of wear traces for tools used as polishers.
