Paesaggi contemporanei/paesaggi interattivi. Seguendo la trasformazione

Constantly renewing itself to adapt to changing contexts, the city generates in himself indefinite spatial situations: empty born of failed projects, the interstitial spaces between forms completed, unused artifacts, aging infrastructure and derelict. These spaces are ruins, fragments, scraps of urban life. But they are also the place where the city expresses his creativity and energy that finds space in which is an engine of urban transformation.The role of the project will not be to propose form that the territory be taken, but to trigger a series of processes to determine, in the time available, the shape of a landscape that can then become the framework on which to set the shape of change possible, acquiring the asset value, capable of permeating any modification of the space inside and outside the existing city. It lays bare the need for an biomimetic design that responds readily to changes in space, able to adapt to different environmental conditions and flexibly to the diverse needs of contemporary society, in co-evolution of habitat-inhabitant-habitat and inhabitant. It is designed in this regard, the concept of the “platform”, design of space as a ”mutant platform” , attached permanently to urban services, but with the flexibility to adapt to the needs of these new perspectives.

Rinnovandosi continuamente per adattarsi ai mutati contesti, la città genera dentro di sé situazioni spaziali indefinite: vuoti nati da progetti falliti, spazi interstiziali tra forme compiute, manufatti inutilizzati, infrastrutture obsolete e aree abbandonate. Questi spazi sono resti, frammenti, scarti della vita urbana. Ma sono anche il luogo in cui la città esprime la sua creatività e in cui trova spazio quell'energia che è motore della trasformazione urbana. Il ruolo del progetto non sarà quindi di proporre la forma che il territorio dovrà assumere, ma quello di innescare una serie di processi finalizzati a determinare, nel tempo disponibile, la forma di un paesaggio che possa poi divenire la struttura su cui impostare la forma del mutamento possibile, acquisendo quel valore attivo capace di permeare ogni modificazione dello spazio dentro e fuori la città esistente. Si palesa la necessità di una progettazione biomimetica che risponda facilmente alle modificazioni dello spazio, capace di adattarsi alle diverse condizioni ambientali e flessibile alle molteplici esigenze della società contemporanea, in co-evoluzione habitat-abitante e abitante-habitat. Si è ideato a tal proposito, il concetto di platform, ossia spazio come “piattaforma mutante”, collegata stabilmente a servizi urbani, ma con la flessibilità di adattarsi alle esigenze dei fruitori.
